I feel the need to address the answer for this question. A lot of times at the gym I see people only doing cardio for their whole workout or only lifting weights. I will give you the simple answer: DO BOTH! Both cardio and lifting weights are healthy for your body. Lifting weights helps develop new muscle tissue and cardio helps to improve endurance and cardiovascular health.
“But Jake, if I’m supposed to do both cardio and lifting, which one should I do first? This question comes down to what your goals are. If you’re trying to get stronger, lift weights before doing cardio. If your goal is to improve your endurance, do cardio before you lift weights.
